Last year, Building Garden Communities held a roundtable discussion looking at the impact of the government’s proposed planning reforms on garden communities.
Creating an ambitious vision from the outset to establish communities, not just housing, was seen as key to the success of future developments. As was the need for an overarching national policy and supported funding for garden communities, with a call for infrastructure to be prioritised.
